Accounting Manager

The main responsibilities are:

  • Manage a team that works directly with the accounting and tax for all entities in Volvo Financial Services (Bank, Insurance and Consorcio)

  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements

  • Manage and overseeing daily operation of accounting department including: credit portfolio reconciliations, general ledger, payroll, revenue and expense variance analysis;

  • Tax management and planning;

  • Keep tax regulatory requirements under control;

  • Produce financial statements under local Gaap requirements (Central Bank rules) and IFRS;

  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles

  • Coordinate and complete regular audits;

  • Assure compliance with group policies and regulatory requirements;

  • Improve and implement systems and solutions aiming operational efficiency in the accounting area;


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required (Master’s degree preferred) – Active CRC

  • Consistent experience as Accounting Manager

  • Financial services background

  • Leadership skills and team development

  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, accounting software and databases)

  • English is mandatory
