Cost Analyst


Work Location: Lin’Gang, Shanghai
Primary Job Functions

  • Support monthly closing and reporting.
  • Be responsible for weekly/monthly inventory related reports(DIO, aging units)
  • Monitor purchasing/manufacturing /inventory transactions in JDE and correct errors if any.
  • Weekly work order cost tracking and to do corrections and communications if any abnormalities.
  • Annual standard cost & transfer price set up;
  • Conducting physical stock taking twice a year and cycle count every month;
  • Monthly variance analysis and deliver variance reports.
  • To support GR/IR clearing activities to verify the price variance.
  • To calculate the Investment analysis when it happens & follow up annually.
  • To support E&Y TP filling & Corp auditing annually.
  • Plant assets stock taking.
  • Monthly plant actual operating cost analysis vs. budget.
  • Good support and communications with other functions.

Secondary Job Functions
  • Support line manager for annual budget and response.
  • To prepare other legal required investigation analysis report occasionally.
  • Take initiative activities for improving cost efficiency and waste eliminating.
  • To achieve and documentation for above financial information always;
  • To work as deputy business controller when finance manager in leave occasionally;
  • Support line manager for any urgent financial analysis.

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree major in accounting / finance related.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
  • Good knowledge of costing accounting and analysis; Skillful in Microsoft excel, and power query , Essbase and other PPT tools;
  • SAP user (is a must) & JDE system user (is preferred);
  • Good understanding of business/process, in manufacturing fields;
  • Good comprehension ability& presentation skills;
  • Good English in speaking and writing;
  • Good communication and team player;

Employment Criteria & Requirements
  • Above 6 years of finance background in multinational manufacturing companies, and at least 3 years’ experience in costing/analysis fields;
  • Diligent, self-driving & learning in flying;
  • Work under limit pressure and accountable for his/her results;
  • Be open to change and challenge for successive improvement;
  • Multi-tasked,Flexible and self-starter with hands on approach, problem-solving oriented; Faster learner.
