Volvo Bus Latin America is one important and strategic cluster of Volvo Bus Corporation, responsible for all markets in South America, Central America and Caribbean. We are currently seeking a dynamic Bus Sales Representative to join our Volvo Bus Sales team in the region.
This position is responsible for interacting and supporting our sales channel in obtaining higher penetration of bus and coach sales, retain expected profit levels, while maintaining and increasing the current customer base. Also, will support dealers to have permanent focus on Bus business and Customer satisfaction, will act cross-functionally to engage people into the sales process and coordinate regional sales strategies/initiatives together shared areas and dealers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer experience at all times.

  • Complete CRM prospecting requirements and maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Make regular contact with dealers, current customers and maintain ongoing business relationships while establishing new customers.

  • Support dealers to achieve their regional business plan goals and objectives

  • Create sales strategies that will successfully conquest new customers, reach volume and profitability targets

  • Make sure dealers take appropriate actions to keep retention accounts

  • Engage appropriate dealer and internal areas / resources to ensure appropriate cultivation, closure, and follow-up of a transaction

  • Ensure that vehicle specifications meet customer, operational and legislative requirements.

  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge

  • Promote a total offer solution by offering company quality service and spare parts with every sales.

  • Able to work through dealer principals and sales people to achieve results

  • Able to create relevant and engaging customer proposals that are of value to Volvo, Dealer and the Customer

  • Strong Negotiation Skills

  • Strong closing skills; able to bring sales to a close in a timely manner
