Within Volvo Group Trucks Operations we are now looking for you who have a passion for business and for always going that extra mile for your customers. Within the area of Customer Adaptation we are now hiring our new design manager! As the Manager of Customer Adaptation Design you are leading a design team, with the main task being to support specific design changes requested from our customers.

The Customer Adaptation is an important strategic area with the aim to support truck sales. We work actively and cross functionally with our counterparts both within sales, purchasing, research and development, as well as internally within the production organization. The role is part of the Customer Adaptation Management team and reports directly to Director Customer Adaptation.
Within the Customer Adaptation team we share a cooperative, supportive and open atmosphere. Our Management Team drives the operation with care for our collaborators, colleagues and customers.
What are your new Challenges and Responsibilities?
In this role, you will be securing that your team delivers according to commitments within the capacity and resources of the team. You will set and follow-up the team’s KPI’s, being a part of the Customer Adaptation strategy. As the Manager Customer Adaptation Design, you will support your team in adapting to future technological challenges, as well as work with change management and testing new ideas, driving operational excellence.
In this role, you will be a bridge for communication, assuring top-down and bottom-up distribution of information. You will work in accordance with our Code of Conduct, to support and drive cross-functional way of working.
